What we do
Agile Methodology
With agile methods, your organisation can quickly adapt and respond to changing conditions. This creates advantages across the entire business— especially in the development of digital products and services. Esatto guides you and your organisation towards a more agile way of working.
What does agile mean?
The word “agile” means nimble or flexible. When we talk about working methods, it refers to the ability to quickly pivot and adapt to new conditions. Agile methods have many advantages, such as:
- emphasizing flexibility, collaboration and customer satisfaction
- helping teams quickly adapt to changes in project requirements, prioritize and deliver valuable features and continuously improve processes
- promoting open communication and shortening feedback loops
- enabling teams to efficiently deliver high-quality, user-centered products
- supporting the creation of a culture of trust, transparency and accountability, leading to higher employee engagement and motivation.
In summary, an agile approach helps your organisation quickly deliver value to customers, maintain competitiveness and drive innovation.
How we support you with agile methods
Esatto can support those in tactical or operational roles tasked with improving the work of agile teams and adopting agile practices. Whether you're a product owner, project manager or scrum master—or involved in product engagement or product mission—we help you and your organisation transition from a sequential approach (the waterfall model) to agile methods by:
- organising and structuring new or existing teams
- coaching employees
- working on goal-setting
- using agile meeting structures and product backlogs
- implementing and creating value through Scrum/Kanban
- developing team skills through workshops
- implementing organisational change and tracking its impact
- understanding the differences between roles within agile frameworks and how they can collaborate effectively.
Agile coach or agile mentor?
Depending on your resources and needs, we can find different ways to support you in your agile transformation:
Agile coach
As an agile coach, we create a plan to establish new working methods and participate in their implementation. We’re by your side throughout the entire process! We work closely with your teams and other stakeholders to provide daily support and ensure that we achieve the set goals and outcomes.
Agile mentor
As an agile mentor, we guide the person in your organisation who is responsible for implementing the change and are available for any questions. We provide support through regular meetings, recommendations and feedback loops.
How we work
Our recommendations on what needs to be done and how to do it are based on the specific conditions of your organisation. Three steps form the foundation of our process:
Step 1: Understand needs and conditions
Through interviews, surveys, and/or workshops with teams and responsible leaders in your organisation, we gain insights into how you currently work and the conditions for moving forward. These insights form the basis for our recommendations on the next steps in the process.
Step 2: Proposals for change and improvement
Based on the insights we've gathered, we work with you to develop a toolbox for moving forward. This toolbox is tailored to your needs and includes:
- goals and methods for tracking progress
- tools that support the agile process
- meeting structures and collaboration formats for development teams
- any necessary training initiatives
- a plan for team development.
Step 3: Implementation of change
In this phase, we work operationally to implement the changes, using the toolbox as our foundation. We act as either an agile coach or agile mentor, with the goal of embedding the new working methods.
Contact us and we'll help your organisation get started with more agile ways of working.
