Hi Karl, a warm welcome to Esatto! Tell us about yourself and your background.

Can you be anything but calm, happy, and curious when you grow up in a place branded as a dynamic idyll”? Maybe, but that’s how I turned out, at least. From the journey starting on a farm deep in the forests of Sörmland, to Stockholm and Esatto, I’ve toyed with ideas of working in music, history, and nature. I hadn’t anticipated ending up in a technical education focused on programming, but that’s what happened, and it led me to where I am today. And I couldn’t be more grateful for it.

What made you choose to join Esatto?

I’d been curious for some time about what it would be like to work at an agency. The potential variety in types of projects was appealing. Just like that, Esatto’s job posting appeared, and it matched so well with my interests that I couldn’t resist applying right away. Throughout the process, it became clear that I would be joining a team of friendly and skilled colleagues, engaging projects, and great opportunities for growth. So, that’s how it happened!

And what do you enjoy doing when you're not at work?

Outside of work, I like to spend time running, going on forest outings with my partner, playing classical guitar, and playing the computer game *Age of Empires*.

At Esatto's Christmas party in Kraków, you were forced to sing a karaoke song. If you could choose freely, which karaoke song would you sing and why?

I’d prefer not to sing at all, but if I had to choose, it would be something really short. Maybe “Cykelhandlarens snapsvisa”?

And finally, which is the best mushroom of all?

The chanterelle, of course! Pan-fried in way too much butter.
