Daniel Nilsson takes on the role as the new CEO of Esatto
At Esatto, we recognise that several major forces are shaping our future. Digitalisation is one of them, fundamentally impacting all aspects of our society – in the tools we use daily, the way we work and organise ourselves, and perhaps most importantly – in our culture, how we think, and how we experience the world. Now, Daniel Nilsson takes the helm at Esatto to navigate this future.
Covid-19 has accelerated more cautious digitalisation strategies, and we now see organisations becoming much more aggressive in their transformation timelines. Goals that were previously set to be achieved in 5–7 years have suddenly become 1–2 years. In this context, we see that Esatto has a vital role to play, and this is why our own business development has gained momentum to remain relevant for our clients in their current and future challenges.
This shift has led us at Esatto to reorganise our leadership to better meet the changing needs of the market. Now Daniel Nilsson steps in as CEO of Esatto.
In recent years, Daniel has held roles as both COO and Head of HR at Esatto, and now he steps into the role of CEO. With his background and experience as a co-founder of Esatto, Daniel has deep insight into our operations, clients, and market, which will greatly benefit both our customers and Esatto in his role as CEO.
“My focus has always been on building strong, engaged teams that can meet the market's and customers' needs, and I look forward to continuing to develop ourselves as individuals, teams, and as a company in my role as CEO. Recently, we've been reviewing our brand and positioning, carefully considering the value we can and should create for our customers, and I’m eager to continue that work. We have a strong culture, many talented employees, and customers who are eager to accelerate change, so it feels great to lead Esatto forward”,says Daniel Nilsson.
Björn Sundqvist, who has served as CEO for the past six years, will step into a role as a business developer in June, dedicating his full time to that role.
“I have had the privilege of working my entire career in developing digital services and business development with clients and partners, which is something I find incredibly rewarding. Now, I have the opportunity to focus solely on this, together with Daniel and all my other colleagues at Esatto, which I really look forward to. These times place high demands on all of us, and we at Esatto will be a strong player in creating effective and innovative solutions tailored to new and changing conditions”,says Björn Sundqvist.
The CEO transition will take effect from 8th June.
