A future-proof website in line with business development

HRM Software

A new Umbraco website with the support of AI driven development

HRM Software Customer Experiences & Commerce

Dizparc Esatto was entrusted with taking a holistic approach to HRM Software’s new website, from structure and design all the way through to development on the Umbraco platform.

HRM Software provides payroll and HR systems to large private companies and government agencies. With extensive experience and deep expertise, the company has built a strong position in the market, with reliability and trust at the heart of its offering.

The business is characterised by a fast pace of development, reflected both in a constantly expanding portfolio and in proactive service development aimed at existing as well as entirely new target groups. The company’s website plays an important role in communicating with the market, but over time it had become increasingly difficult for visitors to navigate. The content had also struggled to keep pace with the evolving offering, while the technical foundation limited the editorial team’s ability to create and vary content.

HRM Software recognised that it was time for a change. This became the starting point for a larger transformation project aimed at creating an entirely new web presence together with the team at Dizparc Esatto. The project began with a requirements phase, where the two teams worked together to define the needs and expectations for the new website.

The starting point: The people behind the visits

A good website does not start with colours, components or a choice of platform. It starts with a deep understanding of the needs of the people who will use it.

The Dizparc Esatto team therefore began the project by bringing the HRM Software team together for an initial workshop. The existing website was reviewed, while the teams discussed the business goals and needs that the new website would have to support.

The workshop also included mapping the different target groups using the website and the types of information they are typically looking for. For a payroll or HR manager, for example, it is important to quickly understand what HRM Software offers and feel confident that they have found a knowledgeable partner. For an IT manager, questions around security, operations, integrations and technical standards are far more important. And for someone considering a career at HRM Software, the website needs to provide a sense of the company’s culture, people and opportunities.

This mapping became an important foundation for the rest of the project. Once the target groups for the new website had been established, it became easier to determine both which content should be given the most prominence and how the navigation should support different customer journeys.

“Dizparc Esatto has been a partner that truly listened to our needs and created a website tailored to our objectives. It was important to us that the new website was not only modern and visually appealing, but above all designed around our business and the needs of our target audiences. By taking our requirements as the starting point, Dizparc Esatto has helped us build a flexible solution that gives us the right foundation to continue developing our digital presence”.

— Torbjörn Karlsson, CEO of HRM Software

From fragmented to clear

The next step was to develop a new structure based on visitors’ questions and needs rather than on HRM Software’s internal organisation. This made it easier to understand the offering, find the right service and explore it in more detail. Parts of the previous website that were already working well were retained and incorporated into the new solution.

At the same time, the team continued to develop the visual identity. The goal was not to create a website that simply “looked new”, but one that felt more aligned with HRM Software’s values and conveyed a sense of trust and expertise through a modern and accessible approach.

As the structure and design began to take shape, it became clear that the existing platform would not be sufficient. The new website needed a technical foundation that could better support the new requirements.

Umbraco creates room for continued development

HRM Software decided to move to Umbraco to gain a more flexible CMS that would give its editors greater freedom to continue developing the website themselves.

The new platform now makes it possible to publish news, customer cases and content tailored to different target groups without relying on a developer for every change. This simplifies day-to-day work for the editorial team while making it easier to keep the website relevant as the business continues to evolve.

A website ready for what comes next

The result is a website that better reflects HRM Software’s offering. Services are presented more clearly, navigation is smoother and visitors can find information relevant to their needs more quickly. At the same time, customer cases, news and contact options have been given greater prominence, helping to build trust in HRM Software and guide visitors further along their customer journey.

Today, HRM Software has a future-ready website that can evolve alongside the business, with a structure built around its users, a visual expression that reflects the brand and a platform that provides room for continued development.
