ATL – The Business Journal of Agriculture – is Sweden's leading news outlet for agriculture, forestry, and contracting. Through the news site ATL.nu and the print edition, it offers credible, relevant, and independent quality journalism to its target audience. In addition, they actively work to develop digital services that make farming a little easier and even more enjoyable.
Changing audience behaviours
ATL faces the same challenges as other media outlets—changing audience behaviours that bring new needs and opportunities. Additionally, they were heavily constrained by their previous digital platform, which was technologically outdated. It lacked the flexibility to meet the organisation’s needs, particularly regarding new services and its advertising business.
A valuable and future-proof digital platform
As ATL’s long-term digital partner, Esatto was tasked with creating the new digital experience for ATL.nu. Behind the scenes, a new, flexible technical platform was developed to manage content, current services, and future offerings.
Building on this foundation, we designed ATL.nu to refine the brand and increase conversion to, and clarify the value of, a digital subscription. We achieved this by creating a new visual language—featuring a new logo, colour palette, typography, illustration style, and design elements.
In short, technology and design pulling in the same direction—crafted through iterative processes. This is how we support farming that’s a little simpler, and a lot more fun.
